Joker Outfit
Are you looking for the most popular costume this Halloween season? So far the Joker Costume is ranking number one this year. Especially the Joker from the movie “The Dark Knight” who was played by Heath Ledger.
The Joker is an evil but colorful character and is recognized immediately by others. Be the talk of the Halloween party this year as you dress up as the Joker with all the accessories.
Batman themed costumes have always been at the top of the costume list for generation now. This generation is no different. With the tragic end of the act Heath Ledger, the image of the Joker was published worldwide. However, in this Joker version, the face painting does not need the meticulous lines and clean edges as some of the earlier versions based on the comic book. The Dark Knight version of the Joker has jagged lines on each side of the mouth. It creates a more sinister look and sets this Joker a part from the earlier comic book versions.
The Joker makeup is the most important part of the costume. It is a good idea to use a moisturizer before apply the white base. This white base will create the chalky white skin the Joker is known for. Using red lip stick to make the oversize, jagged smile is a must to complete the look. The cleanup will be much easier since you applied the moisturizer first. You can apply green eye shadow and mascara on the eyes for a more visual look.
Now it is time to talk about the Joker’s clothing. Depending on which Joker you plan on being, there will be a variety of costumes to choose from. The best selection by far will be from the new Dark Knight Joker costume. The Joker wears a three piece bright purple suit, with a green vest and a colorful tie. The jacket is long and solid in color and the pants can be purple with a white pin strip. Wear black gloves along with black shoes that go well with a suit.
Once you pick the style of clothes you want, you’ll have to decide whether you want to wear a mask or go for makeup. For those not certain about doing the makeup, go for the mask. The special effects are built in, like the grin. You’ll also have to decide on hair dye or a wig.
Green hair dye is a little drastic so you can temporary use a spray in color. Read the label carefully to ensure it will wash out. Blondes want to be especially careful of the dye. If you are worried about your hair you can always wear a green wig. Even if you are a dedicated perfectionist to details, the wig will work without any hassle. There is a wide range of wigs available online from the historical Joker to the current one.
For the more adventurous, forget the mask, get a makeup kit with your Joker costume, and create your own look. Stage makeup does a better job for this than your typical everyday makeup. That’s why they sell it at costume shops or on websites these days. You can also pick up latex ‘scars’ to go under the makeup. These pre-made items can make a great difference in your appearance. They attach with a little liquid latex or spirit gum.
In any case, chose your Joker costume style and go for it. It would be wonderful to see the history of Batman and the Joker through time parading through the Halloween streets. Get in to the spirit of the night and have fun being your favorite Joker.
Don’t be caught short of choice by waiting to the last minute though, get your Joker costume early. You can also purchase the Joker costume in adult and children’s sizes. You can find the costume available in toddler’s sizes and even a joker costumes for your pet. Have a blast this Halloween!
